All Cougar Band percussion
students for the 2008-09 school year are required to
participate in percussion camps this summer as follows:

incoming freshmen will attend the times with the Front
Ensemble.
About the Summer Percussion Camps
These camps will be held at Clark High School. They are
mandatory for percussion students and are designed to
prepare percussionists for the upcoming school year:
- Students
will learn fundamental techniques and begin learning the
2008 Cougar Band production, “Sleep: What Do You See
When Your Eyes are Closed?”
- Front
ensemble students will also be evaluated during the
camps and assigned to specific instruments.
What to Bring and Wear
All students should bring:
- Sticks
and mallets
- Pencil
- 3-ring
binder with clear plastic sheet protectors for music
And wear:
- Black
shorts
- White
t-shirt
- Athletic
shoes (No sandals will be allowed)
