The Clark High School Band's Funday Sunday, featuring the shortest
parade of Fiesta, will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April
20, at Clark High School. This official Fiesta event
is hosted annually by the Clark Band Boosters to provide wholesome, family fun for the community
and to benefit the Clark Cougar Band.
In addition to the parade, Funday Sunday
offers a catered meal, games for kids of all ages, musical
entertainment and a silent auction.
Shortest parade of
Fiesta
The Funday
Sunday Parade begins at 1 p.m. just west of Clark High School, 5150
DeZavala Road, and proceeds past Clark into the school's east
parking lot. We are proud to announce that the parade grand marshall
will be Clark's very own Latin teacher, Mr. William Lee! We are also excited to have received commitments from the
Hobby and Rawlinson Bands, several elementary school choirs and the
Alzafar Shriners, among others, to participate along with the Cougar
Band in the parade.
Food
Following the
parade, a delicious
barbecue meal
will be available. Meal tickets are $7 in advance, and $7.50 at the
door.
There will also be assorted other refreshments available for
purchase.
Games and entertainment
Enjoy a variety of games for the whole family while listening to the
Cougar Marching Band and other groups
that will perform throughout the afternoon. Game tickets are just 50 cents
each and can be purchased at Funday Sunday. Face painting and hair
decorating will also be available.
