2007 Marching Contests

This fall season the Cougar Band will participate in the marching contests listed below, which take place on five consecutive Saturdays. All students are required to participate and should clear their Saturday schedules to ensure their availability for rehearsals, performances and travel to and from the events.

Any student with an unavoidable conflict should bring it to the attention of one of the directors immediately.

More detailed schedules and information about each event will be posted as they become available.

Rehearsals on event days
Rehearsals will take place at Clark on each of the event days. Rehearsal times will be announced as event details are finalized.

Policy review
Please be sure to review the Marching Band Policies and Procedures, especially those regarding jewelry, nail polish, food, gum, and candy. It is imperative that all students abide by these rules during contests. Also review the Band Rehearsal Attendance Policy and the NISD Eligibility Policy.

Also, make sure you have black socks and that your marching shoes are clean and polished for each marching event.

Spectators invited
Parents, families and friends are invited and encouraged to attend the marching contests to support and cheer for the Clark Cougar band. Some events charge a nominal admission fee.
