Clark Band Booster Meeting Minutes
May 11, 2004 – 7:00 pm, Auditorium

1)      Call to order – 7:05 pm

2)   Adoption of minutes from April 13th Booster Meeting  -  Approved

               3)   Reports of Board Officers

a)      President  -  Becky Plemons

-           Various Recognitions  -  Becky recognized Mr. Kuentz, Mr. Telles,

and Mr. Schmidt for their dedication, etc. and presented each with a gift.  Gloria Carter was also recognized for her help, etc. over the last four years, she was presented with a bouquet of roses.  Thanks were made to all the parents/boosters for their support this year.

-           Presentation of 2004 Graduates  -  Gloria Carter recognized each senior and Sue Morilak gave them personalized autograph pillows from boosters.

-           Presentation of Jan Eulenfeld Scholarships  -  Becky introduced Jan

and she came up and awarded $500 Scholarships to Alex C. and

Stephanie L.  Jan was also presented with a bouquet of roses.

-           Mr. Schmidt presented Becky with Campus Partner-of-the-Year

Award.

b)      Treasurer Report as of May 4^th

-           Income   -  $54,389.04

-           Expenses   -  $46,563.34

-           Cash Balance  -  $25,275.55

-           Books for 2003-04 close on May 31^st

4)      Reports of Standing Committees

a)      Funday Sunday

-           Thank you to all who helped and participated!

-           Profit of approximately $6200 to date.

b)   Chaperones 

-           Thank you to those who helped with the Fiesta events

and the DC Festivals!

              c)   Scrip 

-           Orders to continue during summer break.

-           Contact Elaine Hutzler at 699-3307 for questions.

              d)   Uniforms 

-           All uniforms/concert attire need to be turned in by

Friday, May 14^th

5)      Upcoming Events/Updates/Reminders

              a)   All volunteers need to turn in their hours worked asap.

b)  CD’s available  -  all orders due by this Friday, May 14^th

-           Keepsake Photo CD’s available for purchase, $15

-           UIL performances of A-1 and A-2 Symphonic Bands

$10 each (orders only)

                        -     Spring Concert 2004, $10 each (orders only)

c)   During summer break, students will receive a letter with

      information regarding band camp, band bucks and the

      band trip in ’05.

                        d)   Summer Band Camp begins on Tuesday, July 27^th

                      e)   Courtyard Concert on Friday, August 13^th
