         3)   Reports of Directors and Board Officers

a)      Band Directors - Mr. Kuentz/Mr. Telles

Football Season is complete. Well desired rest.  Lockers have been cleaned out and will be getting rid of lost and found items tomorrow.  There are some events that have occurred or will be coming up.  This past Sunday the Municipal Band had a concert here at Clark.  This is a group of adult musicians and they will have another concert on December 14th. Region Orchestra try outs have occurred and Clark had 5 students make it.  Three of these did qualify for Area. Region Band tryouts are December 12th and 13th.  Region Orchestra Concert is November 21st and 22nd.  Out Holiday Concert is December 9th at 7 pm.  This six weeks is actually 5 weeks and one of those weeks is finals.  Students need to sign up for Solo and Ensemble and turn in music by end of the six weeks sometime during finals December 16-19.  Mike Higley on trombone and Carey Volz on clarinet performed part of their region tryout music for us.

b)      President - Becky Plemons: gave thanks to all that have helped during marching season in the various areas.  Pit Crew, Spirit, Uniforms, Food, Website, senior corsages for the last game, and Portraits.  A new financial report “Budget vs. Actual” was handed out and explained.  The start up balance for the year was mistakenly taken from an August balance sheet instead of the June balance sheet which is the beginning of the year.  Some numbers were reallocated, but the bottom line stayed the same.

c)      Treasurer - Gus Belitzer:  Balance on accounts $26,836.25.  Money still owed: $1000 for the show and $1725 for costumes.

d)      1st V.P. Fundraising - Gloria Carter (not present):  Catalog orders were due November 7th, (approx. 50 students participated). Profits go into Band Buck Accounts, 40% for magazines and 50% for merchandise.  Should receive orders the week of Dec. 8th.  Guard has started Wash Tub Fundraiser, profits go to help pay off costumes.  Orders due Dec. 1st.

e)      2nd V.P. Concessions - John Moya:  Apologized for absence the past couple of months due to military involvement.  But hopefully as things have settled he will be able to do more.  We need around 20 people for a play off game at Farris this Saturday at 12:15 pm.  Basketball will start soon and we will need two to three people for each game.  Soccer begins December 2nd.  Students (14 years and up) are allowed to help but not allowed to take money unless they are over 18.  No young children are allowed.

f)        Corporate Liaison - Mike Hutzler: The donation for the trailer shed has been on the budget.  The $6745 will cover the concrete slab and the building.  The building is on order and should be here in the next 2-3 weeks.  The building is a welded up frame.  We will need volunteers to attach the siding and the roof.  The estimated cost is $4600.

4)    Reports of Standing Committees
