Although professional clinicians periodically provide specialized sectional instruction at Clark, Cougar Band students are highly encouraged to take private lessons to further advance their playing ability, competitiveness at contests, and contribution to the band's overall performance quality. Private lessons are on the students' own time and at their expense.

The following professional musicians/educators are studio teachers for the Clark cluster of schools (Clark H.S., Hobby M.S., and Rawlinson H.S.) and have confirmed that they are currently accepting students on a private basis. Credentials, hourly rates, and lesson locations vary.
