The Region XI All-Region Band concert will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Taft High School Auditorium, 11600 FM 471W. The concert is free and open to the public. Families and friends are encouraged to come and hear the 30 Clark High School musicians who qualified for the All-Region Band during tryouts in December. Students should wear their Clark concert band attire to the concert.

Rehearsals will be held at Taft according to the schedule below:

Friday, Jan. 20                           Saturday, Jan. 21
6 p.m. to 9 p.m.                            9 a.m. to noon
                                                     1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Students are encouraged to learn the music thoroughly before the rehearsal in order to maximize rehearsal time. In addition to bringing their music and instrument, students are also asked to bring a pencil to rehearsals. Students must attend all rehearsals in order to perform at the concert.

Band members will be awarded their District and Region Band patches upon turning in their music folders after the concert.
